Loving, Sharing, Serving, and Reaching Others Through the Word of Christ. In this Church community, you will find people loving God and each other. We share our spiritual gifts, our financial gifts, and the gift of our presence with each other. Through different worship services and many ministries and programs, we love to serve. We do not just serve the people who come into the Church buildings; we go out in to the world to reach the arms of Jesus' love to everyone in Morehead City, North Carolina and even outside of the country! Our mission is grounded and founded in the Word of Christ.

The Beatitudes Study is available via livestream on Tuesdays at 12:10pm. What is the “blessedness” of living in the kingdom way? Join Pastors Powell and Sarah for an exploration of The Beatitudes, Matthew 5:1-12. Our study book will be Maxie Dunnam’s workbook, available for home delivery via the links below. This seven-week study will walk alongside our sermon series on the Sermon on the Mount - Thy Kingdom Come. If you would also be interested in a separate time of reflection and discussion in a small group, please let the pastors know.
On September 24, 2021, join thousands of people from around the world for a one-night simulcast event. Laugh and learn with your spouse as you hear from marriage experts and discover how to honor God in your marriage. FUMC will host the event at 7:30pm in The Loft.
Marriage Night will bring together thousands of husbands, wives, and engaged couples to hear from J.D. and Veronica Greear, Aaron & Jamie Ivey, Jonathan & Kanika Evans, and comedian Dustin Nickerson.
Healthy marriages do not happen by accident. They require work and dedication, but with the busyness of life and the pressures of culture it is easy to lose focus. What is marriage supposed to look like when the initial bursts of excitement give way to everyday troubles and routines? Marriage Night is an opportunity to get practical answers to this question.
Attendees will get expert teaching and principles for a lasting relationship while being challenged to see the greater purpose of marriage—to glorify God and advance the Gospel. Marriage is made for more than a fairy tale ending. It is a picture of God’s hope and redemption for a world in need of rescue.
Registration begins September 1st and tickets are $20/individual.

Youth Fall Retreat 2021!
MercyMe concert and Busch Gardens Christmas Town
This year we are doing something new. We believe that our youth need to be filled with positive, orthodox, evangelical Christian messages to empower and equip them to follow Jesus in an ever changing world. We believe that what our youth group needs to restart this fall after a long season of socially distanced ministry is a trip that will unite us in our faith and build us up for discipleship and service. We hope that we will have a huge number of youth to make plans to attend our FUMCMHC Youth Fall Retreat Weekend. We are looking forward to this new opportunity for our youth. For questions or to register click below to email Pastor Sarah

Friday mornings @ 8:00am (come right after school drop off!) Meet at the Fort Macon Trail head in the Fort Macon parking lot by the visitors center and we will walk the 3 mile trail, pray together, and talk about what it looks like to walk with Jesus as we read through the gospel of Mark. Walking at a fast pace, we should finish the trail within an hour. All are welcome. Led by Dana Starling with Pastor Sarah. Beginning Friday, March 5th
Monday's Coffee and Conversation small group gathers in the Loft at 10:00am. Join us as we pray and discuss Sunday's sermon. Contact Pastor Sarah at email@example.com to connect.
