Life as a disciple can sometimes feel like being caught in a battle, a conflict between forces of good and forces of evil. A wise man once said, “You will lose every battle you don’t know you’re even in.” Beginning September 13th, our sermon focus will be on Paul’s text from Ephesians 6:10-18 where he describes the armor of God available and necessary for each follower of Jesus. These are: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, feet fitted with readiness and the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit. Each day we are to gird ourselves with this armor so we can engage in the battle of faith. Join us for worship at 8:30, 9:45, 11:00 or via livestream on Facebook or from our fumcmhc app.
