Family Affair

Wednesday evenings during the winter, spring and fall. March dates are 3/4, 3/11, 3/18 and 3/25.

United Methodist Men

The UMM is chartered through General Commission of United Methodist Men and aspires to provide Christian fellowship and opportunities for service. We conduct several fundraisers during the year to benefit various ministries within the church and community. Meets on the second Saturday of each month for breakfast,  and devotion. There are several women's circles who gather monthly at the church and in the homes of members.

Hands of Hope

We are a group who knit and/or crochet prayer shawls, lap blankets, baby blankets, and other items. We meet at the church on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 10:00 am. We give these items to help share God's love with those who may need comfort during an illness or the death of a loved one or to those who have a joy such as a new child or a graduation. Coffee and Conversation

Come join us at Sweet Beans on Monday mornings at 10:00 am. We pray together and discuss Sunday's sermon. We meet year round even through the summer and on most holidays. Contact Pastor Sarah at sarah.williams@nccumc.org.

Tuesday Men's Bible Study

The Tuesday morning Men’s Bible Study includes men from numerous churches around Carteret County. After a brief time of singing and prayer, the study proceeds verse by verse through a book of the Bible. Teaching is accompanied by lively discussion as we seek to understand God’s truth and guidance for our lives. Pastor Powell Osteen teaches the Bible study. Golf Fellowship

Calling all golfers, men & women, any handicap! Let’s gather for golf, fellowship, and prayer. Join us at Brandywine Bay to make new friendships & memories! Young Adults

This is a  young adult group for those after college age, moving into the business of trying to grow families and careers. We will simply try to encourage and strengthen each other as we grow together in faith. Contact Harrison Smith at (252) 241-4135.

Tuesday Night Communion

On Tuesdays from September to May, we have Communion services at the FUMC Campus, on the second floor, at 6:30pm. At least one time a month, we celebrate a worship and Communion with the residents of Brookdale, formerly Carolina House, at 6:30pm. Contact the church office at (252) 726-7102.

Geneology

This group will explores the many routes available for learning about living and deceased family members. We believe that family bonds bring joy and meaning to our lives. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday  of the month at 3:30 in the large conference room.
